i've been thinking about the possibility that crypto topped before equities this cycle
if the recent bounce is just a countertrend move and stocks are only now beginning a larger correction, crypto could still have another leg lower
i'm not fully convinced that's the scenario we're heading into, but i think it's worth considering given how much AI and equities have driven risk appetite this cycle
Bitcoin could also find its bottom before the broader equity market does, even if both continue selling off in the near term
i'm keeping an open mind and watching how price reacts as these markets approach important levels
