i respect u, and ur takes, and i do understand the difference of being hungry and NEEDING to win vs it being something that’s for fun and there’s no sense of urgency. I’ve identified that early on, not just with ansem but with a lot of diff devs and holders. that part is true, but there is also the part of having to prove everyone wrong who continuously shits on ur name and says u cant do it. That part i know resonates with ansem. I dont think hes gonna walk away. I do think the 2 months of fading away though has been dragged on too long, regardless of whatever products are being built out. When u take on a job like this u have no choice BUT to show up, otherwise u end up in a spot like we’re in now. Trending to 0 with really angry people who wont be coming back. I’m not naive to any of this, and i know its also extremely difficult to have a trader as a dev. I’ve said that before as well. None of this is what real bagworkers wanna see, we wanna see murad level conviction from the top, but ive accepted its not gonna be like that. So i’m voicing my concerns and what i think SHOULD be done rn without causing mass fud on the tl and choosing my words carefully so we can retain the holders who are left and get this back up to atleast 100-200 range for now until hes ready to come back full force. But my message was… i cannot do this alone. WE cannot do this alone. we held it up as long as we could and now we need him to show up for us like we have been for him. As far as hype goes, he’s not a kimchi or a celebrity, he’s the main character of crypto twitter who has been for a decade here. Hes not going away. Thats the part many people dont understand. Its not temporary hype, attention will come and go in rotations as it always does. But no matter what, it’s a good bet, especially if people have money to jump in here, its also betting on what level of energy ansem is going to put behind it now, people just wanna see him show up at this point, updates and utility aside.
